generosity365 Academies Planned for August and October

Registration for the August generosity365 Academy is now open! Register now.

generosity365 Academies are planned for August and October 2020. These virtual events focus on essential topics to help churches and their leaders create a culture of faithful generosity.

The August event, named generosity365 EXTRA, is a shorter event between the April and October events, to continue the conversation from the April event and to consider current issues impacting the church and how they inform best practices related to faithful generosity.

The theme for the August event is “Faithful Generosity: Moving Forward” and will include presentations on new ideas for stewardship, resourcing and engagement. Participants will hear from:

  • Joe Park, CEO of Horizons Stewardship and Lisa Greenwood, Vice President for Leadership Ministries for the Texas Methodist Foundation and Executive Director of the National Association of United Methodist Foundations;
  • Sidney Williams, CEO of Crossing Capital Group, Pastor of the Bethel AME Church in Morristown, New Jersey and author of Fishing Differently: Ministry Formation in the Marketplace
  • Meredith McNabb, Associate Director for Educational Programming for the Lake Institute on Faith & Giving at Indiana University

The Academy includes presentation time and an opportunity to engage with presenters in breakout sessions.

The two-hour August Academy will take place on Saturday, August 1, at 1:00 Eastern time.

Online registration will open Wednesday, July 8 and close Tuesday, July 28. Registrants will be invited to make a donation to support the ministries of the Academy sponsors.
