generosity365 Academy Moves Ahead–Remote Attendance Options

The April 25, 2020 generosity365 Academy will take place as planned with two remote attendance options: individual live streaming and at live streaming sites.

The Ecumenical Stewardship Center has been providing remote attendance options for events since 2016. Most recently, approximately 150 persons participated remotely in the 2019 Generosity NEXT Seminar, either individually or a live streaming sites across the US. One attendee said, “I really appreciate the decision to offer live streaming sites. We were able to have more attend because the cost was more manageable. This is good stewardship and use of technology.”

Bethany Theological Seminary in Richmond, Indiana will provide technology for the generosity365 Academy. The Seminary has been at the forefront of offering remote education options for decades, including currently offering a course that connects US and Nigerian students in real time.

Academy attendees will have the opportunity to interact with keynote and workshop presenters with questions and comments. In addition, participants will have ongoing and unlimited access to the presentation recordings following the Academy.

generosity365 Academies are fast-paced, workshop-based events on stewardship-related topics that every church should know more about, such as connecting mission, ministry, and money; annual, legacy, and major gifts; what clergy need to know about money; fiscal transparency and accountability; and much more.
