Mission Funding Forum

Ecumenical Stewardship Center Forum Groups provide those engaged in similar stewardship-related vocations gathering places for networking, support, and learning. The Mission Funding Forum Group includes individuals who focus on obtaining resources to support the mission of their organization. While the Ecumenical Stewardship Center facilitates the gathering, the agenda is set by the participants. ESC Forum Group participants consider the current trends, best practices, challenges, and opportunities unique to serving faith-based organizations. There is no registration fee for the Forum: participants care for their own transportation, lodging, and meal expenses.

The next Mission Funding Forum Gathering will be September 19-20, 2017 at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, beginning at 2:00 p.m. on the 19th and ending at Noon on the 20th. The Lancaster Airport is served by Southern Airways Express with flights from Pittsburgh and Baltimore. Lancaster is 30 minutes from the Harrisburg, PA International Airport and 90 minutes from the BWI and Philadelphia International Airports. Lancaster also has an Amtrak station.

Forum participants are invited to attend the Everence Development Conference, which immediately follows the Forum at the Lancaster Marriott Penn Square, ending on September 22. Featuring a variety of workshops and keynote speakers including Jim Wallis and Susan Shultz Huxman, "Bridge to a Shared Tomorrow" is a quality learning opportunity. Mission Funding Forum participants interested in attending need to register for the conference.
