"Found Faithful", based on 1 Corinthians 4:1-2, is the theme for just-released stewardship resources published by the Ecumenical Stewardship Center. ESC offers resources that together provide a creative, comprehensive, and thought-provoking approach to encourage generous giving and faithful stewardship. "Found Faithful" includes four sub-themes: called to be faithful, faithful in little, faithful with much, and faithful with all.

Volume 15 of the Giving: Growing Faithful Stewards in Your Congregation magazine includes the lead article "Balaam's Dilemma" written by Dr. James Forbes, noted author, scholar, and preacher voted one of the 12 most effective preachers in the English speaking world in 1996 and twice named by Ebony magazine as one of the U.S.'s greatest Black preachers.

Giving is packed with many more outstanding articles that uplift generous giving and faithful stewardship as transformational practices in a holistic context, including:

• Kamila Blessing, author of Speak Ye First the Kingdom:  A Mainline Pastor's Journey into Abundance shares guidelines to increase congregational generosity;
• Pam Klainer, author of How Much is Enough? reflects on how her experience as a Peace Corps volunteer in Panama influenced her concept of stewardship;
• David Radcliff, Director of the New Community Project, looks at our responsibility to be good stewards of the earth;
• Doug Flanders, Director of Major and Planned Gifts for the United Church of Canada, explores the blessing of legacy gifts for individuals and congregations.

The magazine includes a center section containing an easily-adaptable model for the "Found Faithful" stewardship emphasis.Giving also includes reviews of books, videos, and digital resources.

Theme materials complement the magazine and center section, and help congregations create a stewardship emphasis that is recognizable and consistent. Theme materials include a poster, bulletin inserts, letterhead and envelopes, bookmarks, bulletin covers in two sizes, and commitment cards. Want to preview materials before buying a quantity?
