Rev. Adam Hamilton, Senior Pastor, and Rev. Dr.  Clayton Smith, Executive Pastor of Generosity at The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas, were the plenary speakers at "Stewardship Fusion" in April 2015.

The Rev. Adam Hamilton is the founding pastor of Church of the Resurrection and has overseen its growth over the past 24 years from four people in 1990 to more than 18,000 adult members with an average weekly worship attendance of more than 8,800 in 2012. The church was listed as the most influential mainline church in America in a 2005 survey of American pastors. He is the recipient of the Denman Award in Evangelism and the Circuit Rider Award for excellence in church leadership. He was named Distinguished Evangelist of the United Methodist Church by the Foundation for Evangelism, and one of the “Ten People to Watch in America’s Spiritual Landscape” by Religion and Ethics Newsweekly. Rev. Hamilton has authored 14 books, including Enough: Discovering Joy Through Simplicity and Generosity and Leading Beyond the Walls: Developing Mainline Churches with a Heart for the Unchurched.

As Executive Pastor of Generosity for the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, Rev. Dr. Smith gives oversight to the congregation’s giving campaigns and directs their Crossroads Initiative. He has served as a consultant to other congregations across the US and regularly leads and teaches faith-based programs that assist people in developing responsible stewardship and generosity. Rev. Dr. Smith also directs the Pathways to Ministry program and assists candidates for ordained ministry. He has just written the book Propel: Good Stewardship, Greater Generosity.
