Your financial support and partnerships really do make a difference.
As part of their participation in ESC’s Network for Growing Stewards, many individuals and organizations contribute to ESC’s mission and ministry. Financial gifts provide essential income for the development of accessible, relevant, and affordable resources, events, and services. Those who financially support ESC view generous giving and faithful stewardship as transformative spiritual practices common to all in the Christian faith.
The Ecumenical Stewardship Center encourages the development of generous giving and faithful stewardship as transformative spiritual practices for Christian faith communities and their leaders. The Ecumenical Stewardship Center envisions generous giving and faithful stewardship as:
• a recognition that God is the author of all life;
• a response to the gift of God’s grace;
• a channel through which God’s generosity can flow and God’s love can be shared;
• a spiritual discipline at the center of Christian discipleship;
• a responsibility of every follower of Jesus Christ.
The Ecumenical Stewardship Center lives out its mission and vision with a view of ecumenism as God’s gift, and with actions that are generous, collaborative, innovative, and prophetic.
The Ecumenical Stewardship Center welcomes supporters and partners who share this vision and affirm this mission. You have the opportunity to participate in a vital, far-reaching network that witnesses to the unity of the body of Christ and the value of faithful stewardship ministries.
Denominational Partners: Historically, the members of the Ecumenical Stewardship Center have been comprised of the primary stewardship offices of Christian denominations in the United States and Canada. In covenant, each of these members contributes organizationally, creatively, and financially in the common stewardship ministry of ESC. Each member denomination names a representative to the Ecumenical Stewardship Center Advisory Council, which offers a place for denominational collaboration and takes an active role in shaping ESC’s programs. In addition, Denominational Partners receive significant discounts on the purchase of ESC resources.
The Ecumenical Stewardship Center welcomes inquiries from Christian denominations and faith groups regarding joining our Network of Growing Stewards through denominational partnership. Please contact us for more information.
